Ashley North Cook, LMFT

Ashley North Cook is a skilled and licensed marriage and family therapist and the proud owner of North Cook Counseling. Though she’s lived in the charming city of Pittsburgh since 2005, she originally comes from Michigan where she received her Bachelor’s degree in social work. While in the field, she quickly discovered what she loved most about social work was allowing clients space to tell their stories and explore their connection to relationships, family, community, and culture. Ashley went on to receive her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Seton Hill University and has been a practicing couples and family therapist ever since. Ashley has provided therapy at the Seton Hill Center for Marriage and Family Therapy, Persad Center Inc., Family Resources of PA, and the Women’s Center and Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh. Ashley has also been an adjunct professor at Seton Hill University for the course on Multicultural Therapy. When Ashley is not pondering emotional process in relationships she cherishes any free time she can make, especially if it involves dancing or listening to live music- an excellent complement to therapy! Ashley looks forward to hearing from you, to discuss the beginning of your therapeutic journey.
